This is Mr. Shark. He lives on a beach in Florida. He has 3 fins, 2 legs, and 38 teeth. He only eats fish, not humans. He can walk and he can drive.
This boy’s name is Bernard and he is 6 years old. He is tied up because the kingdom knew he was a pirate and they wanted to get him. The plan did not work and Bernard escaped when the Peeps untied him. Everyone was chasing him and he ran into a blacksmith shop and the blacksmith helped him escape.
Space the final frontier. These are the voyages of the Starship Enterprise. Its five year mission: to explore new worlds. To seek out new life and new civilizations.
TO BOLDLY GO WHERE NO PEEP HAS GONE BEFORE…. Peeps log star date 264. There has been a strange accident on the ship. We found small, furry creatures. We found out that they regenerate after blasting. We disposed of them by the escape pods back to their planet. Mister Velociraptor grabbed a Peep from a car and ate him. His friend the T-Rex snatched the other Peep and he also got eaten. The 3rd Peep drove away screaming. The 3rd Peep hit a tree and the Spinosaurus behind the tree woke up and….CHOMP! Goodbye, 3rd Peep.
Willy invited 2 children into his candy factory. There was a mother and a son named Mrs. Mello and Marsh. Then there was a boy named Marshmallow and his grandfather named Grampa Peep. Willy had never opened his factory since the mysterious marshmallow with eyes tried to sneak in and steal his candy. On the 10th of May they would be let into his factory but only these places: Candy Forest, Peep City, Marshmallow in Mars, Candy Heaven, Flavored Water Beach, Scary Tunnel (that is how you get to the rooms), and the Candy Toy Room. When that day arrived they were a lot of little marshmallow people outside. The day was great and it was and fun. The Peep family had never camped out before. Since they had never camped out before, they only camped out right by their house. They slept by their Koi pond. That night the fish were gone. They were devastated and scared and never camped out again. Dun dun duuuunnn…..
In the picture they are on the Peep ship. They see an iceberg so Charles, the Peep guy throws Kathy, the Peep girl, off the boat. But Charles saved 1,000 lives by throwing Ashley the girl Peep off the ship. She had glow in the dark sticks to help guide the ship to safety away from the iceberg. The Peep ship landed in Peep York. So, Charles changed history forever. To be continued.
Before April 15, 1947, 400 white men played Major League Baseball. Jackie Robinson changed that number to 399 white men. Jackie Robinson was born January 31. 1919. He was born Cairo, Georgia. He passed away October 24, 1972. Originally Jackie didn’t want to play with the white men to only make a change. He wanted to make more money for his family. The manager said that Jackie had to control his temper. If Jackie got mad and punched somebody who was making fun of him, no more African American men would be able to play baseball. He would have been proof why. Jackie played for the Kansas Monarchs before he played for the Brooklyn Dodgers. He wore the number 9 before he wore the number 42. He number is retired in the MLB but on April 15, everyone in the MLB wears the number 42. Katherine was the first girl to run the Boston Marathon. Kathrine was born January 5, 1947. She was born in Amberg, Germany. Her boyfriend was a football player. The Boston Marathon she ran was in 1967. Her parents did not know what a marathon was. Her school was Syracuse University. She was the first girl to run track there. Her coach said, “You can not run the Boston Marathon.” But she replied, “Yes I can!”, so they made a deal. The deal was she had to run 26 miles at practice before signing the entry paper. She felt so good that she ran 30 miles.
On the entry paper Katherine wrote K.V. Switzer so the Marathon director did not know she was a girl. She decided to write her initials because she was thinking of bad things that might happen to her if they knew she was a girl. Before the marathon she went into her room to put on makeup, lipstick and earrings. She wore a sweatshirt because it was raining outside. Kathrine ran with her coach and her boyfriend. At mile 4 she heard yelling, and she heard leather shoes behind her. It was the Boston Marathon Director! He grabbed her and yelled at her for running in the Boston Marathon. She said to her coach, “I am scared”. Her coach and her boyfriend pushed the director away and Kathrine finished the race in 4 hours and 20 minutes. That’s even faster than some men that run today! Do you know who Gul Makai is? You may know her as the survivor named Malala who won the Nobel peace prize. Malala was born on July 12, 1999. Malala was born in Mingorra, Pakistan.
Malala was important for girls’ education. Malala was a BBC blogger who wrote about why it is important for girls to have an education. She thought it was unfair if they did not have a chance to learn. So she wouldn’t get found out, she went by the name Gul Makai. Malala’s dad actually started a school for girls. Malala was taken off a bus and shot in the head by bad people who didn’t agree about girls’ education. Malala survived! |
