Once I was at the dock on Cuttyhunk. I was walking along and my foot skidded. I got a splinter. I could not walk on it. IT HURT SOOOO MUCH! I literally had to crawl. My dad wrapped my foot up. Then we went to the doctor on Cuttyhunk at her rental at the Avalon. Her golf cart said “Hickory Dickory Dock. The doctor said it was not that bad. Then we came back to the mainland because of the splinter. We went back to our house and got a pin and some tweezers. We got some of it out. Then later we realized I still had some in me. We went to Toby Hospital. They finally got it out. My mom called it the never-ending splinter.
